Bay High offers a future-focused curriculum centered on content creation and emerging digital technologies. Anchored in marketing, journalism, and entrepreneurship, students gain technical skills in our four pillars: photography, videography, graphic design, and podcasting. Our project-based learning model fosters innovation and creativity, extending education beyond traditional boundaries to cultivate the mindset, character, and collaborative abilities students need to thrive in creative industries and in life. With strong ties to The Bay, we incorporate student passions—skate, art, music, fashion, and gaming—as meaningful creative disciplines, empowering the next generation of creators and changemakers.
We believe young people can only dream as big as they’ve seen. By fully leveraging our partners’ strengths, Bay High will provide the experiences, skills and network they need to not just gain a seat at the table, but to be ready for it!
Mike Smith, co-founder/former co-executive director of The Bay
Bay High is located next to Lincoln’s only indoor skatepark at The Bay LNK’s headquarters on historic Y Street. Formerly known as Rabble Mill, The Bay partnered with Lincoln Public Schools to launch the Bay High Focus Program in fall 2022. The program was shaped by a roundtable of local businesses, including CompanyCam, Archrival, ALLO, Spreetail, Ameritas, and Union Bank & Trust. Built by and for the community, Bay High equips creative, entrepreneurial students with the tools and support to become the creators of tomorrow.
Bay High provides creative, entrepreneurial minded students with the tools, access, and stewardship to be successful creators of tomorrow.
Students who will be entering grades 11 and 12 will be able to submit their application.
